So, unrecognized by me for over 25 years, I realized that there was mysterious yet wonderful connection to the June 14 date to this idea of a parade concept, historic use of banners and flags, worship experience and the potential to impact world culture. The answer was right in front me. However, I did not see it clearly until three years after this photo was taken.

The beginnings of the idea of a parade. 6am Sunrise, the fields of Creation Festival 1993.

The beginnings of my awakening to my purpose.

It was early 1995, and I was contacted about meeting with Tom Pelton, minster from Austin Texas and Graham Kendrick, musician and worship leader from the United Kingdom. They were planning an unprecedented march, a parade in the streets of America.

On May 19, 1992 in downtown Nashville. It happened. Over 200 local churches marched, worshiped and brought unity to the City for the first time ever. I was tasked with designing something so special so spiritually planned that the idea of protest and defiance would be the last criticism that could come to mind. We were out to create a modern day procession.

A moment like that of King David bringing the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem.

An earthly vision of what is possible in this generation. We were part of the very first March for Jesus.

This event held annually through the next three years got me invited to create custom processions and parades at Creation Fest, Super Fest in California and Jerusalem 3000 as

a guest of the Mayor of Jerusalem, Israel in 1996. This created a portable thinking about the

future that got me thinking about what else might be possible in the market place. I began to dream on it. I would have to wait five more years until I got a clear vision from G-D on what I believed I was designed to do. There were lots of trials. Mainly helping learn to manage patience within myself, becoming at peace with flexibility and acclimation of environment. A person grows deep during solitude and suffering then learns to apply it well in situations that are potentially full of stress or anxiety. Circumstances have a way of shaping opportunities, especially when you humble yourself to be open to change. That is what I learned during this time, it's what I am still learning to master, even now.

My purpose has become more about what I can give to others, not what I can gain for myself. It's very motivating to deliberately impact culture as a world changer. This is what is my WHY and what gets me moving everyday. -Ed
